A little bit about me...and why I LOVE PITTSBURGH!

I was born and raised in Pittsburgh and love the people, places and food. Everyone here is very helpful, friendly and always has a suggestion on where to go and what to try. Pittsburgh has so many diverse neighborhoods to explore you never get bored! Start by exploring Downtown and walking the 14-block Cultural District, have a cocktail at a rooftop restaurant or hang out at Point State Park and watch the boats go by. Then ride the subway to the North Shore, where you can visit  Heinz Field, PNC Park, Rivers Casino, The Carnegi Sciece center, you can bike or walk along the riverfront and dine in one of the may riverfront restaurants.

How about a little excitement, try riding the one of the inclines up to Mt. Washington and take in the  breathtaking views of the City! Feel like a little Italian? Head over to Bloomfield which has been nicknamed "Little Italy" and explore that neighborhood. Don't forget "the strip" which has farmers markets, outdoor shops, food and just a great neighborhood vibe. There is something for everyone, how about a trip to the museum, head over to Oakland, home to Carnegie Museum,Carnegie Mellon University, the Cathedral of Learning and so much more. If nightlife is what your after then the South Side is the place to go.  Biking, hiking, wine tasting etc. there are so many more different and intriguing places to see and explore, I just can't list them all. Pittsburgh's neighborhoods are as wonderful, distinctive and creative as the people that live here and call it home, I would love to show you the Pittsburgh I love and find the perfect neighborhood for you to call home!
