Considered the fastest growing township in the Pittsburgh region, Cranberry, Pennsylvania has become a shining example of what a great suburb can be. Located in the north hills of Pittsburgh, Cranberry is experiencing a huge influx of businesses and residents alike, all of them eager to call this town home.

Originally established in 1804, and named for the wild berries that grew along the banks of Brush Creek, Cranberry has grown into a major suburban location and retail center within an easy commute to Pittsburgh. The heart of Cranberry’s local economy is its growing family of corporate, industrial, and research organizations. Today, more people commute into Cranberry for their jobs than the other way around.

One reason for the township's tremendous growth is its prime location at the intersection of several major roadways, including the Pennsylvania Turnpike and Interstate 79, making the community easily accessible from virtually all directions. In addition, in 1989, the completion of Interstate 279 cut travel time to downtown Pittsburgh to less than half an hour. Cranberry's choice location is further enhanced by the low tax rate in Butler County, prompting both businesses and homeowners to flock to the township.

But Cranberry is about more than business. In fact, it's residents take their recreation seriously as well. The Township boasts three major public parks as well as a community waterpark, a skatepark, a dog park, and a playing field specially designed for people with disabilities, not to mention Cranberry Highlands – selected by Golf Digest in 2009 as Pennsylvania’s best municipal golf course.

The homes in Cranberry offer every kind of lifestyle, and the low property taxes give prospective residents options in housing that they may not be able to afford in other townships. From moderately priced homes to the new and the luxurious, anyone in search of Cranberry real estate can find what they need here.

So if you are looking for a town where you can work, play, and enjoy a little of everything a large suburb has to offer, then Cranberry might just be your next home.
