There is nobody who will do more for you than John Gates. We personally undervalued our home. At first we did not agree with his valuation of our home. We thought his recommendation for the asking price was too high and we were looking for a quick sale because we had already moved and were not looking forward to owning two homes for very long. We had 8 showings in the first weekend. We received a full price offer after only ten days on the market. We highly recommend John. He will make you feel comfortable about every decision you make during the process of selling your home. The thing we were most impressed with was his willingness to do whatever was necessary in order to help us out. When the buyer did their final walkthrough, just two days before closing, they asked if the washer/dryer could be removed along with a 2nd refrigerator we had in our basement. John took it upon himself to remove these items to ensure there was no delay with the closing.

John was by far the best agent I have ever worked with. I was relocating from TX to PA, so there was many calls and conversations between us in the long drawn out 8 month process. He answered his phone at all hours or promptly called me back. He is very knowledgeable in the market, the area, and even has a background in appraisal which was very helpful. The ONLY realtor I will ever recommend!! John Gates helped me purchase my first home last week, and when I say “helped” I mean he did EVERYTHING! He is so easy to talk to and such a down-to-earth guy. Buying a house is so stressful, but he was more than willing to help in any way that he could. He explained the entire process to me from beginning to end and anything I had questions about, he was quick to answer them. If he didn’t have an answer for one of my questions, he was very honest, and he would find the answer and get back to me as soon as he got it! When the appraisal came through, there were several spots inside and outside of the house that needed painted to pass FHA guidelines, including the front and back porch roofs. You know what he did? Without me even asking, he offered to roll up his sleeves and help me get it done! He put in almost 7 hours of scraping and painting with me just to make sure that it was done by our closing date! When it came time to close, he even gathered all the contact information to get my utilities switched over! Guaranteed, purchasing my first home would have never been so easy and exciting if it wasn’t for John Gates!
