After my mother passed away, I began to prepare to sell her house. I had no experience selling a house, and I live out of state. One afternoon while I was in Butler, I contacted Clint after a friend recommended him. I cold called Clint at 2:00 and by 4:00, he had arranged his schedule to come to the house. Clint was respectful and full of good insights as we walked through my childhood home and discussed the steps to sell it. As the house still needed to be finished with the clean out process and I live about two hours away, Clint frequently drove by to check on the house and kept me updated as needed. On a random day in May, my school was closed and I had an unexpected day off to drive back and begin the process to list the house. Once again, Clint came to the house and met with me at the time that worked for me. He sat with me and explained all the paperwork that I was signing, never becoming impatient with my (many!) questions. Once the house listed, we were in frequent contact, and I always felt that I knew what was happening and understood the next steps. After two days and many offers on the house, Clint scheduled a phone call at a time that worked for both my brother and me to discuss the offers and made his recommendations for the best offer with the least risk for us. He kept me updated with the inspection and its results. He advocated for me with the buyer’s attorney to send the closing paperwork electronically so that I could come back to Butler at a time that worked with my schedule. I know that I am not the only person Clint was helping, but he always made me feel like a priority and patiently explained things so that I could understand them. This process was so much for me to deal with: the emotions of selling my childhood home after the loss of both parents and living out of state. Clint made every step smooth and easy, and I could not more highly recommend him as both a realtor and awesome human. Kourtney and Clint handled our sale beyond expectation. Ever though we experienced issues with banks (etc) they were able to resolve them quickly and efficiently. Our experience with Kourtney was great! When we started searching for a home, it was casual searching. We had gone to a lot of fixer-upper homes to get a least 10 acres of land. When we realized what we wanted was hard to find in our price range we decided to drop the acreage down to 5 acres and found our A-frame home. The process of buying the home was long. We found out that the septic needed replaced and that the home appraised for less than what we agreed upon. So after months of waiting, with Covid-19 shut downs and a new septic system install we finally came to an agreement. It shocked us all that the seller agreed, but we were so happy that we waited. Kourtney was also very responsive in our many questions and kept us in the loop along the way. So thankful for everything she has done for us!
