My wife and I bought our first home in June 2016. I haven't dealt with too many real estate agents, but I can say that Amy absolutely nailed it.I'd imagine that for most people (as was definitely the case for us), buying a first home is terrifying. It's probably the first really really large purchase most people make and it seems like a lot of agents are willfully oblivious to that fact. Not Amy. We were pretty specific in our wants, everything from location to kitchen layout to room size. Not once did Amy say something like "oh, you can't have everything you want in your first house" or "well, feature X isn't in your budget in your preferred area." So, if Amy showed us something we didn't like, she simply made a note and used that information to find us things we did. Furthermore, if she noticed something she thought was weird, she'd let us know and ask our thoughts. There was always an open dialogue; Amy didn't want to just sell a house, she really wanted us to be happy with what we got.Which brings us to Amy's professionalism. She was always super accessible, responding to texts, emails and phone calls on the quick (even at weird hours) and answering all our really dumb questions with really smart answers. Most of the time she was generally laid-back and no-pressure with a hilarious sense of humor, but when it came time to show us listings she was always ready to go at a moment's notice. More importantly, she knew so much about the Pittsburgh market and when it finally came time to put in offers and sign contracts she was super assertive and ready to negotiate hard.So yeah, I can't recommend her enough. Amy was THE REASON we got EVERY SINGLE THING we wanted. She didn't just get us our first home, she kinda got us our dream home.

Amy was wonderful helping me purchase my new home. As a first time home buyer I had lots of questions, and she was always quick to answer them. Fast communicator, knowledgeable about the neighborhoods I was looking in and how it might effect things like taxes and insurance. When it's time to sell this house and look for a new one I'll definitely be contacting her again!

Amy knew the area very well, knew exactly it was that I was looking for, & was very easy to meet up with when we needed to. She had great negotiating skills when it came time to talk numbers, & always got back to me in a very timely manner.
