We loved everything about Janet. She was at our beckon call whenever we needed her. She was never too busy to take our calls & made sure someone was assigned to help us when she was away & couldn't. She made recommendations to trusted, reputable vendors for necessary repairs, remediation, etc. who did quality work at reasonable prices. When any issue arose, she handled it pronto. She took great photos of the property and updated them as we made improvements. She got right on any concerns we had not only regarding the website listing as BHHS & Northwood merged, but regarding incidents at the property. If doors were left unlocked, lights that shouldn't have been left on were, or lights that should have been left on were not after tours & open houses by other agents, she personally checked on the property to make sure it was secure. Paperwork was sent to us promptly & electronically for our convenience and she made sure it was all in order which was a challenge with 4 executors having to sign everything! She did an excellent job all around, even when the closing didnt go smoothly because the settlement company the buyer used, OnTime Settlement Services, made several clerical errors on the closing paperwork. She made sure we had copies of corrected closing documents & suggested how to get what we needed from OnTime that day.
We would definitely recommend Janet & use her in the future. BHHS itself gets a 9 only because the buyer's agent was from BHHS too and we would have liked to have seen more concern/action from him when things went awry at the closing, but Janet McDonough gets a 10+!
