Michelle is a native Pittsburgher and an active member of the local community. She was raised on the North Side, but has lived in several Pittsburgh neighborhoods over the years. Michelle is a University of Pittsburgh graduate with a degree in Liberal Arts and Minor in English Literature.  For thirteen years, she worked as a waitress for James Street Tavern, a popular jazz club and Max’s Allegheny Tavern, an authentic German restaurant.  In addition, Michelle founded the premiere Pittsburgh Social Exchange networking group and grew it to over 500+ members through social media and word of mouth.
 
When Michelle is not working, she enjoys refinishing old furniture, crafting, reading, photography, traveling, and spending time with her mother who is her best friend.  She is passionate about new experiences, education, music, and her two Italian Greyhounds Oliver and Hudson.  Animal Friends and Save A Fox are charities close to her heart.
