Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty Launches Home Value Estimator

04/14/2016

PITTSBURGH, PA. – Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty has launched a new estimator tool that will answer one of the most frequently asked questions from homeowners – “What’s my home worth?”

The estimator allows homeowners to enter their address and instantly receive a home value report. The report shows the home’s average value as well as a high and low value from three different sources, including public records, Zillow and Realtors Property Resource® (RPR). Additionally, the report displays property details, sales history, comparable sales, a local market snapshot and nearby sold trends.

“We are very excited to be on the forefront of this new technology in our marketplace,” says Jim Saxon, President of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty. “Whether a homeowner is considering selling or trying to determine the equity in their home, they want to know what their home may be worth. This powerful new tool combined with the local insight and expertise of our sales associates will be extremely beneficial to home sellers and home buyers alike.”

The home value estimates provided by Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices The Preferred Realty are powered by one of the most accurate sources in the lending industry. Whereas, home value estimates generated on real estate websites such as Zillow or Trulia are primarily based on tax records which can produce inaccurate results.

Homeowners can visit ThePreferredRealty.com to receive the home value estimate. The home value estimates are free and do not require registration.
